Hertzer Tec Jot

Very handy word processing functionality is offered for free by Hertzer Tec Jot. This means you can use the application to write down anything you want. You can then highlight bits of text, change the text font, insert images, add bullets, include a screenshot, and more.

You will not have to install Hertzer Tec Jot on your PC. To get started with the application, you just have to download a 1MB archive, extract its contents, and run the Hertzer Tec Jot executable. Of course, the fact that this application does not have to be installed makes it portable.

When you run Hertzer Tec Jot for the first time, some useful text is displayed on the application’s interface. Said text tells you that you can access various settings and tools from the right click context menu. You see, the interface displays nothing but the text you type or paste in. To access the options for editing the text, you must access the right click menu.

As mentioned above, you can type anything you want or you can paste any text you want. Said text will be nicely presented on the application’s very simple interface.
From the right click context menu, you can access multiple editing options: change the text size and color, highlight text, underline/bold/italicize text, pick a color for the page, set the text’s alignment, add bullets, insert images, switch to sticky note mode, access the text-to-speech tool, send out a document via email, and more.

Hertzer Tec Jot is portable, it has a very simple interface, it provides easy access to lots of handy editing functions and tools, and it is a free word processor. I don’t see what’s not to like about this application.
